Some Saturday Fun

Just to let you all know how busy we have been around here, I post the following picture of a detailed endeavor that the Little Princess and I have been trying to accomplish. Mind you this is one of those split second eye hand coordination things that can drive you batty.

So here is that picture:

And today being Saturday, and the temp a pleasant 53 degrees F, wind out of the SE makes it feel like 40ish....

So today is the day the Barngoddess1 had designated as "Going Fishing Day".

So at 10 am off we go to the local MFA (Missouri Farmers Assn), and pick up this:

and proceed directly to our enlarged pond like this:

Of course we were putting those little fishies into the big pond....

and a few more pics of this great adventure.........

adventure heck, my toes got wet and my feet got cold, but those fishies are in the pond...

and so another Saturday morning is gone by in the blink of an eye, and with the weather not wanting to cooperate, the Barngoddess1 and I adjourned to the humble abode for her (a nap) and for me (more Mario).

While the rest of the crowd adjourned to the "Ford Garage" to make a new base for the seat of the boat, so they are comfortable when they go fishing.

I haven't the heart to tell them those fishies won't be ready until 2 years from now, but what the heck, let them have fun.

Tonight is the largest moon in some 30 years, and true to form, we have our skies encased in heavy cloud cover. Was hoping the clouds would break so the Little Princess could use her new telescope to check out the footprints on that big moon.

Maybe 32 years from now??????

So long and hope you all had as great a day as we did..........
