Left Daytona Beach Fl at 0800 CDT enroute home.
Did the LongRoofFan thing by taking US 40 east to US 27 North, then US 19 north to Interstate 10.
Sorry, after 45 minutes visiting Tractor Supply in Chiefland (so the barngoddess1 can have her walk time) we ended up spending another hour at WallyWorld while the left rear tire had a large screw removed and patched.
Then driving the other side of Perry, we hit the rain.
I almost stopped it was so heavy and so thick on the road, but crawled onward with flashers on leading a pack of other travelers.
after 45 minutes in the rain, we called it quits and hit the Interstate highway system.
At 5:30 we are still in Florida, so pulled off to hit a campground 1/2 mile off the interstate.
Good news, not interstate traffic noise.
Now to rest and get the heater working, it is to be 40 tonight.
AND WE'RE STILL IN FLORIDA...... DANGED THIS IS A BIG STATE.

ain't very wide...
but damn it's a long one...
and I am questioned as to why I use the interstate highway system when I travel...
might not be as scenic...
but I get there by dark...
